Actress Janet Ackon has shared her disturbing experience during an interview on Accra-based Atink FM, alleging that her colleague, Super OD, sexually assaulted her in a hotel room years ago.
Recounting the incident, Ackon disclosed that it happened during their first date when Super OD covertly spiked her drink with a substance, leaving her feeling disoriented.
Ackon explained that she fell asleep after consuming the beverage, only to wake up and discover that Super OD had engaged in sexual intercourse with her without her consent.
In her own words, she recalled, “I went out to a hotel with OD. When we got there, I said I would take Fanta not knowing OD had laced my drink with a substance. I slept off only to wake up and see that he had slept with me.”
Furthermore, she detailed how Super OD issued threats, warning her against pursuing relationships with other men, especially their colleagues. She claimed he threatened physical violence and termination of her employment if she disobeyed him.
The revelation has sparked widespread discussions about workplace harassment and the urgent need for stronger measures to safeguard individuals from such abuses of power.
