OccupyGh.com has gathered that a suspected thief has been caught in a someone’s room claimed he was having a nap.
The drama-filled incident happened yesterday Tuesday April 16 at Amanful West in Takoradi.
The suspect identified as Yusif Cobbinah claimed he had plans to continue a journey he was embarking on in the night after he wakes up from his nap.
The suspect, 37-year-old Yusif Cobbinah is purported to have sneaked into space to steal around midnight when there was an absolute dark out in the whole Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
“I heard an unusual noise in the room that woke me up, only to see an image lying flat on the floor.”I then started shouting to attract neighbours to the scene but sensing danger, the suspect started struggling with me and in the ensuing struggle, he nearly threw me down from the top floor of the two storey building but for the timely intervention of a security man nearby” Mr. Atobrah continued.
At the point when the suspect was questioned by the tenants about what he was doing in the room, he said he was voyaging, yet because of poor permeability, he needed to sleep before he proceeds with the journey.
With the help of the Assembly Member of the zone, Charles Kweku Danso, the suspect was overwhelmed, arrested and sent to the market circle police headquarters.
