Easily the most decorated Ghanaian artiste, Sarkodie has effortlessly become the topic for music in Ghana for over a decade. 

The Tema-based rapper has now won 100 solid awards from 179 nominations. He has become the first-ever artist to achieve such a milestone. 

Becoming the first in so many things seems to be the rapper’s hobby. He is the first artist to win both New Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in the same year, he is the first Ghanaian to win BET Awards, the first Rapper in the world to win BET Hip Hop Best International Flow Award, and more.
