Shatta Wale, the king of dancehall, has been the target of trolling since his own manager revealed that he had lied about the cost of his alleged diamond chain birthday present.
A wealthy Ghanaian businessman gave Shatta Wale a supposedly genuine diamond chain as one of the gifts he received for his recent birthday.
Shatta Wale boasted a lot about that chain, showing it off on social media multiple times and utilising the tester to confirm its authenticity.
However, because he and his manager ultimately gave the same chain different valuations, his own big mouth ultimately exposed him for lying about it.
Wale wrote, “$300k on my neck this time,” alongside a picture of the diamond chain that he posted online.
The same chain was shared by his manager Sammy Flex, who wrote, “Shatta Wale’s $543k diamond chain.”
Netizens swiftly took advantage of the disparity to ask how the same group could value the same product so drastically differently.
The straightforward explanation is that they are simply using any name that comes to mind to exaggerate Wale’s value!
