An accused rapist, Sjava, had denied the allegations of rape against him in a form of an affidavit submitted to the court by his lawyers.
In the apparent 3 page affidavit, the rapper detailed everything that happened while he and Lady Zamar were both booked to perform in a festival in Venda, Thohoyandou around September 2017.
Sjava said he was just circumcised a week prior to going to Venda and according to the doctor’s instructions he was not allowed to engage in any sexual activities because that could compromise the healing process.
A doctor’s note was accompanied by the affidavit that further claim that the two were not in better terms at the time and they had a little fight at Zamar’s hotel room before the festival where Zamar’s performance was very disappointing according to her fans.
Other details of the affidavit included extracts from the WhatsApp conversation between the two where Zamar was apologising to Sjava a few hours after the festival.
