Dr Samuel Adu-Gyamfi, head of the Political Science Department of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science, has asserted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party has no better candidate to represent the party than John Dramani Mahama.
Dr Samuel Adu-Gyamfi made his statement while on The Keypoints on TV3.
He noted:
“But I have come to this juncture to say that they have no option than to go for former President Mahama because no candidate that the NDC presents can be able to outclass or outpace Mahamudu Bawumia or Alan Kyerematen and I say this with utmost authority,”
Dr Samuel Adu-Gyamfi’s statement is at the back of calls from a section of the NDC to change its flagbearer ahead of the 2024 election since John Mahama lost the 2016 and 2020 elections.
