Theresa Kufuor, a former first lady, is currently undergoing a one-week observation in Ghana’s Eastern Region in Peduase.
Top political and non-political figures have flocked to the location to pay their respects to the late first lady and console ex-President Kufuor in his time of grief.
President Nana Akufo-Addo, First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and his wife, Second Lady Samira Bawumia, are among the dignitaries present at the occasion.
Others include NPP lawmakers Sammi Awuku, Richard Anane, Chief of Staff Frema Opare, and Ministers like Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and Roads Minister Amoako Atta.
Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, a former NPP presidential hopeful who is now running as an independent, was also present.
Celebrities also showed there, including Asamoah Gyan, a former captain of the Black Stars, Freedom Jacob Caesar, a businessman, and Akosua Agyapong, a musician.
