Four suspected car snatchers who were arrested at Gomoa Okereko on Wednesday in the Central Region reportedly snatched the vehicle right in the presence of the Inspector General of Police.
Report gathered by OccupyGh.com indicates that these four alleged criminals threw the driver of a yellow and black Kia Pincanto taxi cab with registration number GX 3624-18.
The movie-like incidence happened right in front of James Oppong-Boanuh, the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

The police officers stationed at the event had to save the day by chasing and apprehending these four car snatchers.
Briefing the media, police Public Relations Officer, DSP Irene Oppong said the suspects hired the taxi from Winneba to Okyereko, but pulled him out of the car in the middle of the journey and made away with his mobile phone and money.
The driver sustained injuries due to the impact and struggling during the snatch.
The suspects are currently in police custody at the Gomoa Okyereko police station and will be put before court on Thursday 8 August, 2019.
