Despite receiving a sizable fee for the Accra performance, the Nigerian artist Wizkid did not take the stage.
The “Essense” singer, who is renowned for charging exorbitant prices for his performances, saw to it that he was fully compensated by the ‘Wizkid Live In Accra’ organizers.
Additionally, Wizkid saw to it that all the necessary arrangements for his lodging, travel, and other needs were made.
In reality, he also asked that all supporting acts be paid in full before taking the stage.
Wizkid received $8,000,000 for the Accra performance, according to a social media post by Ghanaian industry expert Arnold Asamoah Baido.
Additionally, he received a $25,000 travel allowance.
