Black Sherif, a musician from Ghana, has won yet another honor after being named the 2023 Headies Awards’ West African Musician of the Year.
Sherif won the prestigious award by defeating fellow countrymen Gyakie and Camidoh as well as a Liberian artist.
Blacko accepted the honor in person, confirming his position as possibly the best act coming out of Ghana at the moment.
Black Sherif is causing a stir everywhere, from performances in Europe and America to accolades.

Afrobeats performers included Ayra Starr, Asake, Rema, Victony, KCee, Oxlade, Johnny Drille, Blaqbonez, Spyro, Seyi Vibez, and FireBoyDML at the 16th Headies Awards.
At the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, the Headies Awards 2023 honored the increasing influence of African music on the international music scene.
