A tragic accident occurred on the Kasoa-Winneba Highway near Krispo City, claiming the life of a final-year University of Ghana student and leaving his brother, the motorbike driver, in critical condition.
According to the emails gathered by OccupyGh.com, the two brothers were returning to Accra after visiting their ailing mother at St. Gregory Hospital in Buduburam when their motorbike collided with a tipper truck.
The tipper truck struck the motorbike from behind, causing the passenger to fall onto the path of the truck, resulting in fatal injuries.
The driver is receiving treatment for his injuries.
The Assemblyman of the Opeikuma Krispo City electoral area, Adam Habib, urged drivers to exercise caution, especially given the ongoing road construction.
The police retrieved the body from the scene, and an investigation is likely to follow.
