Ifunanya Miracle, a recent graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Nigeria, has died in a tragic incident. The student, also known as Bliss, was attempting to escape a prankster who staged a robbery on campus.
The prankster, a final-year student, allegedly pretended to rob Ifunanya and her friend Peace in a tricycle.
In their desperation to escape, both women jumped out of the moving vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries for Ifunanya.
Peace, who survived the incident, was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The university has confirmed the incident, describing it as an “expensive prank”. The prankster is expected to face disciplinary action after Ifunanya’s burial.
The university has warned students against dangerous pranks, regretting the loss of life and promising support for the families affected.
