Breaking news reaching us at OccupyGh.com indicates that US President Donald Trump has been banned on Twitter permanently.
Twitter on Friday announced Trump’s permanent ban on their social platform.
“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” Twitter said in a statement shortly after 6 p.m.
Five people were killed in the attack on a building regarded as the symbol of U.S. Democracy.
Donald Trump has over 88 million followers on Twitter.
The US President over the years has been accused of using the social platform to spread lies and conspiracy theories.
