Ghana confirmed two cases of Coronavirus in the country yesterday, 12th March 2020 after Ghana’s Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu disclosed it in a press conference.

According to the Minister of Health, the cases were confirmed on March 12, 2020, and the two individuals came into the country from Norway and Turkey. They have been quarantined, the health minister said in a statement.
The latest development reveals that the two confirmed cases of Coronavirus have turned out to be negative.

This revelation was made by Dr. Daniel Asare, CEO of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
According to Dr. Daniel Asare, the two suspected cases of the coronavirus were sent to the Noguchi memorial institute for confirmation but after a series of tests run at the Noguchi memorial institute, the tests have proved negative.
