Two people have reportedly lost their lives after a tyre explosion at Yagaba near Tamale.
Speaking with Joy News, he indicated that, the incident occurred on Thursday in the North East Region amid the repair of the tyre of the truck vehicle which helps in transporting food to Tamale.
Five people were involved in this unfortunate accident. Two workers of the vulcanizing faculty lost their lives on the spot after the explosion and the remaining three, which include the drive and two colleagues were severely injured.
The dead bodies have been sent to the Yabaga hospital for postmortem whereas the other injured people who have been transferred a more equipped hospital for immediate treatment.
Due to the sudden event, the faculty has been closed and the police investigative team, have taken up the case to rule out the exact cause of the accident.
