Two Police Officers Almost Lynched By Angry Residents For Arresting 2 Drug Peddlers at Eastern Region

Two police officers were almost lynched by angry residents at Nkurakan in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

The officer who arrested two two drug peddlers at Boti Falls in the Eastern Region were ambushed by residents on their way to their head office to prosecute the pushers.

The backstory indicates that the officers, in a disguised outfits, arrested the drug peddlers while pretending to be buying drugs from them.

Upon receipt, they apprehended the two peddlers. Without their knowledge, these peddlers blew the alarm that they were being kidnapped by two people.

An ambush waited for their arrival at Nkurakan in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

According to details gathered, if not for the intervention of personnel from Central Police Station in Koforidua, these officers would have been lynched
