Tyla is a South African singer and songwriter. She was born in Johannesburg, South Africa to ethnically Coloured parents of Indian, Zulu, Mauritian, and Irish descent.
She signed to Epic Records in 2021 after the domestic success of her debut single “Getting Late” featuring Kooldrink.
Tyla was born on 30 January 2002, which makes him 21 years old as of 2023.
