Unemployed Man Returns Gh100,000 He Discovered In A Taxi (Video)

In a time when financial troubles seem to be the norm, a young Nungua citizen named Dela Anim has demonstrated a high level of integrity and honesty. The person gave the police an undisclosed amount of money that is estimated to be worth more than GHC 100,000.

Mr. Anim described how he acquired the monies in an interview with the Accra-based radio station Adom FM.

He stated that as he was boarding a taxi to travel to the Abossey-Okai neighbourhood of Accra, he happened to see a black polythene bag in the rear seat.

Out of curiosity, he cracked it open and was startled to see that the rubber inside was stuffed with cedi notes.

Despite the fact that his original instinct was to warn the driver, he stated that he chose not to do so because he did not have confidence in the driver.

The rubber and its contents were then taken to Adom FM, which he believed to be the proper site. Upon his arrival, the money was counted, and he was shocked to see that it was more than GHC 100,000. An ID card was also contained in the bag containing the cash.
