VIDEO: Accident On Tema Motorway Kills Driver’s Conductor
A piece of sad news reaching us at OccupyGh.com indicates that a horrible accident involving four heavy trucks on the Tema-Accra motorway has claimed the life of one.
According to the details gathered, an incoming heavily loaded ‘club bear’ truck after an abrupt break, due to the initial crash on the road, ended up crashing too, pouring the load full of beers on the road. About 10 cars have been crashed due to accidents including a Toyota corolla and a Renault.
This has resulted in heavy traffic on the Accra to Tema motorway.
According to an eye witness, a driver’s mate who was trying to put a block in front of a ‘trotro’ ended up under the car when it was hit by an incoming Kia, causing his death.
The accidents are two according to the eyewitnesses, an initial one where no one died and a latter one which killed one.
The actual cause of accidents is unknown. Some persons at the accident scene have taken advantage of the situation to drink beer as they help offload trucks.
Persons who use the motorway are being advised to try other routes due to the traffic.
