Marie-Claire Rupio, the wife of Christian Atsu has revealed the last time she spoke to her husband before the devastating Turkey earthquake.
She shares the difficulties she and their children are facing now, hoping for Atsu’s rescue.
Despite the efforts of the Turkish government and Atsu’s club management, as well as his agent being in Turkey, Atsu’s whereabouts remain unknown.
The lack of proper equipment to retrieve those trapped under the rubble is making the situation even more challenging.
The death toll from the earthquake has risen to over 20,000 people, and rescue efforts are being hindered by a lack of proper equipment to remove those still trapped under the rubble.
Rupio has expressed her prayers for the Turkey government and club management to help rescue her husband.
The situation remains uncertain and tense as the search for survivors continues.
