Sammy Gyamfi’s lawyer has disclosed that her team is taking every necessary step to ensure that her client is safe after the MP for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong threatened NDC’s Communication officer on live radio.

According to Sammy Gyamfi’s lawyer ‘Beatrice Annang’, close investigations carried out by Sammy Gyamfi indicate that Kennedy Agyapong has taken steps to follow through with his threats. Kennedy Agyapong in an interview on Asempa FM’s “Ekosiisen” show stated that he can in a matter of minutes organize his boys to beat Mr. Sammy Gyamfi.

This is what Sammy Gyamfi’s lawyer “Beatrice Annang” had to say when asked about the whole situation:

“Ordinarily this would have been considered as one of the discussions that accompany political discourses in the country but, having regards for his history and the notorious fact that Ahmed Suale faced the same threat on the same show, it demonstrates that Mr. Kennedy Agyapong cannot only threaten but to carry out the threats”.

As a result of all these happenings, the lawyer explained that they have since filed a criminal complaint against the legislator at the CID Headquarters and have been asking to appear for a meeting with the MP on August 17 for further investigations.

It is in this regard that Hajia Fati has also questioned the guts of Sammy Gyamfi for having to summon the sitting MP before the court. She stated that Sammy Gyamfi is just a child and even quizzed when the NDC Communication officer went to law school. She stated that she does not blame him and that blames the NPP for giving him such authority to misbehave without putting him in his right place since they are in power but have been made to feel like they are in opposition.

Hajia Fati blamed the SHS students who were raining insults on the Presiden on Sammy Gyamfi stating that that is what he does what he gets the chance to speak on radio and TV. She also stated on Records that she will personally slap Sammy Gyamfi whenever they meet.
