In the early hours of today, a viral video of Ghanaian socialite Hajia Bintu endorsing ‘Kayamata’, an alleged “Juju’ product for ladies to capture men surfaced online.
Hajia Bintu was shredded by netizens among others for her video, with many accusing her of leading her followers, especially the young ones astray.

A notable Ghanaian comedic musician, Archipalago went as far as recording a now-viral video for her to lash her for the act.
As well, Vim Lady, a Ghanaian notable media personality has added her voice.
Alerting the IGP of Ghana Police, Vim Lady has tasked the security forces to “protect our cyberspace and protect our values.”
“Deleting the Hajia Bintu video but the Min of Comm., Info, FDA & Ghana Police must protect our cyberspace and protect our values.”, her post read.
She also left a caption that read:
“IGP, We need action from the anti-cybercrime unit now.”

As expected, netizens reacted:

“You same journalists will accuse the government of gagging the media n interfering in free speech”

@princedavidosei:
“Why should anyone in the right senses promote sale of charms and voodoo to hypnotize people, on social media, come on now!! No wonder most young ladies now shy away from hard work but prefer doing hook ups and getting paid! Sad generation 💔”
@akosua_opoku_amponsah:
“So the guys here, you support such products to be used on you. Right?? And the ladies with husbands too, you support such products to be used on your husbands….May God have on us🙏”
