A popular pastor has been spotted praying on the World Cup Trophy while it is in Ghana, praying for it to return to Ghana.
Pastor Sammy of Action Chapel was one of the first to catch a glimpse of the trophy on the airplane and delivered a prayer request, asking God to make the Black Stars champions in Qatar.
The pastor is heard saying in his prayers:
“We pray this time that this cup you will go and return back to Ghana for a good celebration. We prophesy in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen,”.
The Ghana Black Stars are paired in a tricky group at the World Cup. They faces Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.
The trophy is currently on tour across the globe and made a stop in Ghana on Saturday, August 3, 2022.
