Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay could be walking out of the banking with a big smile and a big fat cheque if this turns up to favor her.
Wendy Shay has said she will producers of a Netflix movie for using her song without her consent.
According to Wendy, she watched the movie yesterday only to hear her song being played.
She has not given her consent for the song to be used by any of the producers of the movie.
Neither has her management given out consent so she is planning to sue.
She noted as she shared the video:
“So, I watched this movie last night on Netflix, and my song, ‘All for you’ was featured without my consent or that of my management. Producers of the movie ‘Slay’, it is a crime to use someone’s intellectual property without her consent. Kindly do the needful or i will see y’all in court.”
