After a woman posted her frightening experience trying to buy an iPhone, the incident generated a lot of internet discussion.
She went to the Ikeja computer village in Lagos State with the goal of purchasing a new iPhone. Sadly, she was duped by dishonest merchants who tricked her by selling her a fake device instead.
When she got back home and tried to use the phone, she found that it wasn’t working. She was surprised to see broken chunks of tile within the gadget when she opened it, showing that what she had mistaken for an iPhone was actually a fake.
The woman, who was absolutely distraught, went back to the computer village to look for the individuals who had sold it to her, but they were not there.
She can be seen expressing her annoyance and displaying the false phone to a gathering of curious bystanders in a video of the event that has appeared online.
