Woman Sells Her Baby For ¢15,532 To Repay Bank Loan

A Nigerian woman identified as Olaide Adekunle has been arrested for allegedly selling off her for ¢15,532 ( N600,000) to repay a bank loan she took.

This is true from the latest update from the Ogun State police command in Nigeria.

According to the details, the woman reportedly sold her 18-month-old baby to a yet-to-be-identified buyer at a price of ¢15,532.

The case was reported by the husband, Nureni Rasaq after he suspected what his wife has done.

The husband told the police that his wife, Olaide Adekunle, left home for Lagos on the 15th of March 2023 with their baby girl called Moridiat Rasaq, but returned home without the child.

An arrest was made which lead to the woman confessing to the act that she sold her baby to repay a loan she took from a Lagos bank.
