Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, popularly known as “Hushpuppi’s” associate, Olalekan Jacob Ponle, aka “Woodberry,” has pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit internet fraud and money laundering.
Woodberry admitted to participating in email scams that resulted in losses of millions of dollars.
As part of his plea agreement, he has agreed to forfeit the proceeds of his crimes, including real estate properties, luxury vehicles, and more than $1 million in cash.
Ponle also agreed to pay restitution of $8M to the victims of his fraud scheme.
