The Ghanaian perspective when it comes to tattoos is just one – a tattoo is evil. This is from the teachings that most have received from the Bible and Quran from mostly their religious leaders.
In the ancient Middle East, the writers of the Hebrew Bible forbade tattooing.
As per Leviticus 19:28 in the Bible, “You shall not make gashes in your flesh for the dead, or incise (tattoo) any marks on yourselves.”

In light of that, a Ghanaian tweep has shared to see the now perspective views of Ghanaians when it comes to tats.
“Would you marry a lady with a tattoo?,” @IamAbdul___ captioned sharing a photo of a lady with tattoos all over her body.
