Ghanaian Kumawood actor, Yaw Dabo is not just a movie star but also a business mogul. Details emerges that the ‘Little One’ is an owner of three (3) football teams.
According to the hilarious actor who has appeared in over hundred of Kumawood movies, he loves football and an owner of three (3) football teams.
Yaw Dabo made this revelation in an interview which has gone viral on social media as sighted by OccupyGh.com.
Yaw Dabo said:
“People watch us in movies and think we only fool but we also have our personal interests in other fields”, he said. “I am an ardent football man and i own three teams in the colts division with an u-10, 14 and u-17 teams.”
“All these have talented players I scouted to play matches every weekend, I have to pay for the expenses of the matches and I have invested so much into the club and it is because I want to help the youngsters develop on their talents.”
Yaw Dabo also revealed that football in Ghana is gradually losing it’s form. according to him, the focus is solely on the national teams and this is killing the passion for the game in the country.
“Football administration in Ghana is frankly not the best. all the focus is on black stars and it’s killing the game. Nyantakyi is my friend, I have met him on several occasions but my worry is that we don’t pay much attention to grassroots football like the Europeans do”, Yaw Dabo said
