Breaking news reaching us at OccupyGh.com indicates that a young lady, 22-year-old has been found dead in her boyfriend’s room near Sowutoum in the Greater Accra Region.
The lady has been identified as Vera Adu. Reports although unconfirmed indicates that Vera Adu was poisoned by the boyfriend on the night she went to visit.
OccupyGh.com has been informed that the two have been going out for a while now and the cause for this crime is unclear at the moment.
“We received a complaint from the LA Community Clinic of a lady who was rushed to the facility but has been pronounced dead. It is unclear what actually happened,” DSP Mrs Favour Fleischer revealed.
She took the opportunity to advised young girls to be cautious of what they eat or drink when in the company of their ‘lover’ and who they go into relationships with.
She said the police has commenced investigations and arrested the boyfriend, who is currently in police custody.
The body of the deceased is currently at the police hospital awaiting autopsy to enable the police to conclude their investigations into the matter.
Vera Adu’s father has also revealed that his daughter left home to seek greener pastures and has unfortunately meet her untimely death.
