A young lady, Pastor Mrs. Ola narrates how a Nigerian man gave up on his crush, after meeting her mother and she happens to look dirty, probably Poor.

“So I was coming from somewhere yesterday and somehow I saw some guy talking to a beautiful lady in front of a chemist shop. They were still in conversation when the lady’s mum came around. Apparently, I guess, the lady must have accompanied her mum to that chemist shop.
“When the woman came around, she was looking dirty and impoverished. Her appearance showed they are poor. The woman greeted the guy and informed her daughter she wanted to collect her balance from a nearby shop where they had purchased a recharge card before. So she should still stay around.
“Immediately the woman left, the guy asked the lady if the woman was her mum. The lady said yes. And the next thing he said was “I’m sorry, I can’t do this!”.
“The lady was like “Do what?”
“And he was just walking towards his car to meet his friends, who were waiting there for him. I saw him telling them about something I didn’t hear because they had to wind up. But all of them were laughing derisively at whatever he must have said to them. The lady walked towards the place her mother was bittered.
“I can only imagine what would be going through her head. I felt pained!
