<p>A young Nigerian man has admitted on social media that he sold the family&#8217;s farm and used the proceeds to escape.</p>



<p>According to the person who uses the Twitter handle @dangbanamanager, he sold the property for N60 million before relocating to the UK, where he has been ever since.</p>



<p>He claimed that because of what he did, he decided to stay in London rather than go back to his hometown of Ijebu-Ososa in the Ogun state.</p>

<p>In response to a tweet asking &#8220;What&#8217;s the highest credit alert you&#8217;ve ever received at once?&#8221; he tweeted the story.</p>



<p>Netizens who were interested in how he pulled off the hoax responded to the post in large numbers.</p>



<p>He composed;</p>



<p>&#8220;Our family land was sold for 60 million naira. That is the reason I haven&#8217;t visited Ososa in so many years.</p>
