
<p>Private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw says the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has turned Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu into a &#8216;Zombie&#8217;. </p>



<p>According to him, Martin Amidu has been idling about for far too long and appears not to be engaged in any meaningful work, years after his appointment.</p>



<p>Maurice Ampaw, in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, expressed disappointment in Amidu saying – “I thought he was a strong man.”</p>

<p>“We’re tired of Martin Amidu. Tell him we are tired of him. He’s been idle for too long. We’ve not seen any action from him yet. He has been turned into a zombie and sitting down without prosecuting any corrupt government official.”</p>



<p>To him, Mr Amidu should resign from his post since the reason for the establishment of the office of Special Prosecutor by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to fight corruption has become a mirage.</p>



<p>“Because of free V8, free bungalow, free AC [air condition] in this toilet, he doesn’t want to resign. What is he doing there?” he questioned</p>
