A 51-year-old trader, Comfort Nutsugah has decided to go back to school ‘all thanks to the inception’ of government’s free Senior High School (SHS) policy.
OccupyGh.com has gathered that Comfort Nutsugah, who is a mother of six children, four boys and two girls, is a trader who sells second-hand clothings in the market.
She is Currently a first-year student of the Keta Senior High Technical School in the Volta Region undertaking General Arts.

According to Comfort, she now sells her clothings after school hours. She also disclosed that she completed basic school at Kopeyia Bloomfield Basic School in the Ketu Municipality as part of the Gold Track system.
“I remember I sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) with my fifth born and had it not been for the Free SHS, I wouldn’t have continued my education to this level…”
Comfort has revealed how supporting both her kids and her husband has been since her journey back to school begun. She commended President Akufo-Addo for the initiative and said, although her mates in school are younger than her, she enjoys being in class once again.
