A video of Akuapem Poloo in tears as she prays for her son before starting her 90 days jail term has just surfaced on social media.
This comes after a judge in the Accra High Court dismissed an appeal rendered by her lawyers to counteract a jail sentence slapped on her some few months back.
The Accra Court with presiding judge Ruby Aryeetey threw out Poloo’s appeal.
The judge noted that the sentence by the Circuit Court was reasonably moderate so she sees no reason to overturn it.
Reacting to the breaking news, Akuapem Poloo shared this video on Instagram. She captioned it:
