Music Producer Appietus Replies Kevin Taylor For Insulting Him Over Mahama Comment

Renowned Ghanaian music producer, Appietus, has fired back at controversial commentator Kevin Ekow Taylor for insulting him over comments about former President John Mahama.

Taking to Instagram, Appietus defended his opinions while mocking Taylor’s track record of attacking dissenting voices during election years.

In his post, Appietus pointed out that Taylor’s insults have been consistent since 2016, yet they have had no impact on election outcomes.

He also highlighted his enduring legacy as a music producer, contrasting it with Taylor’s reputation for online insults. “Bob Marley is dead and gone yet his music lives. My productions will live forever,” Appietus wrote.

The producer ended his response by urging Ghanaians to vote for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, signifying his clear political stance ahead of the 2024 elections.

The exchange has stirred debates on social media, with fans and critics weighing in on the clash between creative expression and political commentary.

As tensions rise in Ghana’s political landscape, Appietus’ rebuttal reflects a growing trend of public figures openly engaging in political discourse, often with polarizing effects.
