Uganda’s environmental champion, Ariokot Faith Patricia, has achieved a remarkable feat by breaking the existing Guinness World Records for the longest tree hug.
Patricia officially surpassed Adrienne Long’s record set in 2020, which stood at 10 hours and 5 minutes.
Patricia, a climate activist, extended her tree hug to an impressive 13 hours.

In a video capturing the moment, she is seen passionately embracing a Nem tree, with a clock beside her displaying the elapsed time.
