Suro Nipa: Eno Barony Reveals How Her Own Church Members Did This To Her

Eno Barony, one of Ghana’s best female rappers, recounted how her churchgoers prayed against her success in the music industry after learning of her career route.

She claimed that when her church saw her picture and the new trade she was engaged in, they prayed against her expertise because they believed it was not from God.

They believed she was destined to become a preacher and nothing else, so when word spread that she was a musician—and a rapper, no less—they devised a plan to obstruct her musical career.

She reflected on the fact that her picture was displayed in the chapel and prayed for me, asking that neither her music nor anything else should be a success.

When asked how she and her father got along, she replied, “We’re fine, even though it wasn’t easy in the beginning.

Further disclosing the difficult choice she made to ensure the success of her music profession, the hardcore rhymer.

“I first tried to hide it, Because I’m on TV and everywhere, it became a problem, and I disguised it until I couldn’t hide it any more. From home, I had to flee,” she iterated.
