The Ghana National Association of Prostitutes; GNAP has called a seize-to-work suspension of all businesses till further notice.
The closure of all businesses by the association is as of widespread cases of Coronavirus in the country.
Ghana’s cases of Coronavirus skyrocketed to 52 today, 24th March 2020.

President of the GNAP, Winifred Ofori, in a telephone chat on Sunday observed by OccupyGh.com urged members to desist from engaging in any job-related activity for now until the virus is curtailed.
She noted:
“We urge our members nationwide to take the precautionary measures seriously and avoid any sexual activity until further notice. They should equally avoid going to nightclubs and other gatherings for their good…
“They are advised to wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after one had been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
“If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands,” he said.
