In what looks like a shot of presidential space, former President John Mahama has hit back at President Akufo-Addo’s claims that he would destroy his legacy if elected in 2024.
Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), criticized Akufo-Addo’s administration for corruption, misgovernance, and pushing more people into poverty.
“Of course, I will not protect your ‘legacy’ of corruption, misgovernance, arrogance, ineptitude, bankrupt economy, increased unemployment, and pushing more of our people into the poverty bracket.”, John Mahama just shared.
The political titans’ clash has sparked a heated debate among Ghanaians, with Mahama asserting that he would not protect Akufo-Addo’s “legacy” of corruption, arrogance, and economic mismanagement.
As the nation gears up for the 2024 elections, the battle of words between the two leaders has undoubtedly added fuel to the already blazing political ‘heat’ in Ghana.
