A now-viral video that captures the exact moment British professional boxer Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua OBE knocked out his opponent Robert Helenius makes rounds online.
The Former world champion Anthony Joshua knocked out Robert Helenius in the seventh round in his boxing return at the O2 Arena, in London, UK on Saturday, August 12.
It was a huge confidence builder for the 33-year-old as it’s his first KO win since he defeated Kubrat Puliev on December 12, 2020.
AJ looked ponderous in the early stages and the British-Nigerian boxer was jeered by his London home crowd. But he finished the fight with a thunderous knockout of Finland’s Helenius.
The victory kept Joshua on course for a bout with fellow former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.
Speaking with DAZN, Joshua said: “People need to leave me alone, this is my time in the ring. Let me keep doing what I want to do. Helenius, I told him to come again. I think he can cause people a lot of problems.”
