Award-winning gospel performer Diana Antwi Hamilton has offered some sound advise to the world’s young females.
We have heard phrases like “fear men,” “men are filth,” “guys will show you pepper,” and other phrases vilifying men during the past few years.
Diana Hamilton, however, issued a warning to women about this comment in an interview with Accra-based TV XYZ, urging them not to generalize men just because their last relationship was unhealthy or toxic.
She advised them not to carry the negative aspects of their previous relationship into their new or ongoing relationship because there are good men out there.
She said that some women, even when they meet good men, make them suffer because they are unable to let go of their past.
The fact that you met the wrong man does not mean every other man is wrong. I think the mistake some young ladies make is that they make the right guys pay for the sins of the bad ones,” she emphasized.
The “Mo Ne Yo” singer advised women not to expect money or presents from their spouses before engaging in sexual activity.
If you take money from your husband for sex it means you are a prostitute. If it happens that way then that is prostitution. A woman who does that is equal to a commercial sex worker.
“Why do you have to wait till sex time before you demand money from your husband? Taking money from your husband before sex is not right”, she added.
