Upon spotting the man in Nanyuki town, the police promptly acted and took him into custody.
Shortly after, the officers contacted the man’s family to inform them of his whereabouts.
In a commendable move, the family swiftly arrived at Nanyuki prison, presenting hospital documents that proved the man’s mental illness.
After verifying the documents, the authorities released him into the care of his relieved relatives.
