The Plateau State Police Command has paraded a suspect, Friday Samson, for the rαpe and murdɛr of 32-year-old Ruth Yakadi Bako, a UNIJOS graduate in Jos North Local Government Area of the state.
According to reports, the late Ruth was stabbed, rαped and k!lled, and her property carted away at Angwan Jarawa in Farin-Gada area of Jos last year December.

The police were able to track down the suspects through the victim’s phone, which was found in the possession of Ephraim Emmanuel, who confessed to buying the phone from Friday Samson. Friday Samson, a choirmaster, subsequently admitted to raping and killing the victim.
During his confession, Friday Samson disclosed that he had followed Ruth to a secluded area after she refused his advances. He then proceeded to rape her after a struggle and subsequently killed her.
He stated that he had no justification for his actions and that it was simply wickedness of the heart.

The police have assured the public that the suspect will be charged to court for his heinous crime.
