Ramon Abbas, the Nigerian socialite, and Internet star, also known as Hushpuppi, was recently spotted in a video from prison after serving a 72-hour sentence.
Hushpuppi recently made news after a U.S. court convicted him guilty of money laundering and internet fraud and gave him an 11-year prison sentence.
A short video of Hushpuppi calling a pal from an American prison has popped up on the internet.
He was heard in the video expressing that he never imagined that he would be in the US to face justice for his crime.
To that effect, the friend posted the video online with the following caption: “Hushpuppi checked for me today.”
