Four additional individuals have been taken into custody by the police in connection with the recent train accident at Abortia in the Volta Region.
The accident occurred during a test run of the new Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) 001 Train from Tema to Mpakadan last week.
The four suspects are alleged to have played a role in the incident, which is currently under investigation.
The police are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident and identify all those responsible.
The arrests bring the total number of suspects in custody to eight, as four others were apprehended shortly after the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available.
